It works
After four months of use, I am happy with the product. As mentioned in a different review, this works well with the s3 phone. One note, the nylon pocket will not hold the s3 firmly, and the phone can slip out if not careful. I do not use the note cards suggested, instead I use the action method cards for my notes and action steps (also sold by levenger).

Perfect For Samsung GALAXY s3
Ive been looking everywhere for a case that would keep my Samsung Galaxy s3 safe and this is PERFECT!! It fits nice and tight,I don't have to worry about it falling out of the case. The case is very well made of high quality leather, and Im very happy with my purchase, I read these reviews before I bought mine and almost changed my mind, thank goodness I went ahead and bought it!! Its wonderful, just what I was looking for!! The monogram is a nice touch also.

What happened to Levenger quality?
I have purchased numerous international pocket briefcases over the past 15 years and the poor quality of this version has me wondering what happened to Levenger's quality standards. The leather is very thin - feels more like vinyl than leather and the stitching is uneven. Even the sampler pack of 3x5 cards uses much thinner and flimsier card stock than the 3x5 personalized cards I bought a few years ago and still have in stock. I had hoped to give this item as a holiday gift, but the poor quality has eliminated that as an option. What has happened to Levenger quality standards?

The unique addition of a 3 x 5 writing platform puts this case over the top. Holds most smart phones including the new iPhone 5. Also has places for your needed travel papers, cash or tickets. Love it.

Fits Incredible2 (Android)!
VERY, very happy with this item and want to let others know that smart phones other than iPhone may fit, albeit a bit tight (which resolves the "slipping out" issue that other reviewer mentioned). There is room in the middle to securely hold a slim pen AND a stylus. On the right i replaced the cards with a pad of sticky notes. The whole set-up is so convenient!
What i WOULD like is for each of the phone case descriptions to clearly state the dimensions - of both the whole case AND the slot for the phone. As others have mentioned, many are designed for the iPhone and it's difficult to know what other phones may fit. For instance, a friend admired my "briefcase" but i saw that her Motorola would be too large (height/length). I would love to buy her the phone POUCHETTE but without dimensions cannot know if her phone will fit. (Would love to have it monogrammed, too, but certainly can't take the chance.)

Perfect for me
This solves the problem I'd been having of carrying my phone, pen and moleskine from one place to another. With a tiny bit of trimming of the back cover, the moleskine slips into the side pocket. I can keep a running to-do list and also take notes when talking on the phone, and I keep a few 3X5 cards in the back pocket for my shopping list. This is amazingly handy. I use the Moleskine sticky notes for each day's to-dos. It's great to have everything compact, handy and beautifully cased. I like being able to easily slip my phone out of it when it is in my backpack. A great solution.

Disappointing Function and Design
I purchased the International Phone Pocket Briefcase to use with my iPhone. The problem with this item is the phone pocket. It has a slick lining and it causes the phone to easily slide out and tumble to the ground. I used the case for five days and after my phone fell out the third time I gave up. It is just not a good design. It would be a much better product if the phone pocket was lined with a less slippery material that held the phone in the wallet more securely. I love Levenger products, but this one should be modified or removed from their otherwise quality lines.

Very poorly designed
I hate to say so, but I'm very disappointed in the design and materials of this case. The mesh pocket elastic will not securely hold an iPhone at all, and the nylon lining provides no grip at all to help hold it in. Tip the case even slightly towards the ground, and an iPhone will slide right out very easily. Larger phones or iPhones in a thin case may not fall out as easily, but the extra bulk will cause the front cover of the case to "wrap around" the phone in an unattractive way. I'm frankly amazed that this product made it out of prototype testing. I love Levenger products (including my Bomber Jacket International Pocket Briefcase), but this is just not up to typical Levenger standards of excellence.
