Beautiful Pen This is a beautiful pen. I got it in the gunmetal to match the fountain pen. Overall this is a good pen and I like the fact you can switch between ballpoint ink and rollerball ink. Overwall, the pen writes well with the rollerball cartridge. The ballpoint cartridge was disappoining. Being from Waterford I though I would finally have a ballpoint pen that wrote smoothly and required little pressure or effort, but it was no better than your average pen. I was however surprised at how light this pen was. For the price I was expecting something with a little more heft to it. For this reason I rated it only average on quality and value. Good pen, with a design flaw. I purchased this as a gift for my fiance and he loves it. He loves the styling, weight, and balance. It does have a design flaw, though. The piece at the end of the pen that unscrews to access the replacement is 2 pieces and on the pen I originally bought, those 2 pieces came apart, rendering the pen unusable. Levenger was fantastic about it, though, and replaced the pen, completely hassle-free. I just hope the replacement doesn't have the same problem. September 26, 2012
