Two screw mechanisms keep the desktop solidly secure, and it rolls easily over carpet, wood or tile floors, so you can move it where you like and get right to work. (Of course, the wheels are optional and can be removed if you find a permanent place for your desk.) Folds flat for storage under a bed or leaning in a closet—the legs collapse inward and the desktop folds down to a surprisingly slim 4 1/4" width.
