2024 marks the 25th anniversary of our True Writer® pen series. In 1999, our co-founder Steve Leveen set out to create an extraordinary everyday pen, and we are so proud to continue to carry them after all these years. (See video below.)
Because new styles are arriving all the time, I thought I’d take a moment to share the ones I’ve recently added to my personal collection:
The Midnight Spark: One of True Writer’s most striking designs, featuring a deep blue resin barrel with electric blue flares. Available in rollerball or ballpoint modes.
The Golden Dark Tortoise: With a highly polished tortoise-shell resin barrel and gold-plated trim and appointments, this elegant pen is available in fountain pen, rollerball, ballpoint and slim ballpoint modes.
The Ravello: The new Ravello is simply beautiful, with a vividly marbled resin barrel and gold-plated appointments, available in rollerball and ballpoint modes.
The True Writer Origins Pen: In green marbled resin with silvery chrome appointments, the Origins is a tribute to our very first True Writer, available in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint modes.
I’ll close with one of my favorite pen ‘hacks’: Every time I buy a True Writer, it’s either a fountain pen or a rollerball. If it’s a rollerball, I take out the black refill and replace it with a Fiber Tip refill in blue—it writes just perfectly.
