Each year, I create a new planner and make a fresh start. Out with the old and in with the new, I always say! (See the video below.)
Much as I loved last year’s pebbled leather Circa foldover, I found that I wanted a cover with closure so that I can keep loose sheets and documents from slipping out. So this year I chose the Midnight Luxe Softolio in junior size with a magnetic tab closure. It comes with both a premium Freeleaf notepad and a Circa translucent notebook. Of course, I had mine monogrammed.
For my agenda, I always use the Circa smartPlanner Weekly Agenda Refill. It gives me a month at a glance view as well as weekly spreads for appointments and reminders, plus extra refills for lists and organization.
I also recommend the Monthly Tabs & Pullout Calendar, very helpful for tracking long term projects and plans—it provides a two-year view, with this year on one side and next year on the other.
The pockets inside my Softolio hold a multitude of items I use every day, including my Personalized 3 x 5 Cards and Make Today Count Cards. I also keep a couple of Copper Page Nibs clipped inside so I can quickly mark a page or flag a document.
This year, I also treated myself to a new pen—the True Writer Classic Elements Pen in Water. It looks beautiful in the blue Softolio.
