This summer, my daughter Katie and I took a week-long trip to the UK, where I grew up and lived for many years but have not visited for decades. We stayed in the lovely Wiltshire village of Castle Combe in the Cotswolds, toured the ancient city of Bath and then spent a few days in London.

In rediscovering my old stomping grounds, I also discovered that my collection of True Writer pens felt right at home, even ‘across the Pond.’ As the following candid pictures attest, the Levenger True Writer travels exceedingly well. Here are just a few of our stops along the way:

The True Writer Winter Garden and Blue Grotto flaunt their vibrant colors among the profusion of floral splendors of the Flower Market in Bath.

The True Writer Golden Dark Tortoise toured Bath, too, stopping for a photo op at the sweeping Royal Crescent.

The True Writer Blue Grotto hopes to receive a royal welcome at Buckingham Palace.  (But no sign of King Charles or Queen Camilla...yet.)

Westminster’s picturesque St James’s Park is the next stop for that busy Blue Grotto pen.

The True Writer Elements Air is the perfect pen to bring along to the Tower Bridge on a cloudy or foggy day in London town...

...while the Golden Dark Tortoise stands as proudly as Big Ben, if not quite as tall.

At home amid the graffiti of the Leake Street Arches beneath Waterloo Station, the Winter Garden is ready for any quick notes on the go.

The True Writer Golden Dark Tortoise has just the right air of grandeur for luncheon at Harrod’s Dining Hall...

...while Paddington Bear and Leo the Lion make new friends in the toy department.

High tea at Sketch in Mayfair is de rigueur as well for the well-traveled True Writer.

The True Writer Elements Air even enjoyed Centre Court seating at Wimbledon 2024 and helped bid farewell to two-time singles champion Andy Murray.

Wishing all our Levenger friends and customers summer travels worth writing home about.
